Tip: Bring binoculars. Best time: 6–8 AM at the waterfront deck.
Nagarhole Safari
Nagarhole Tiger Reserve — one of India's finest — is 15 km away. Spot Bengal tigers, leopards, Asiatic elephants, and dholes. Book your permit at nagaraholetigerreserve.org well in advance.
Tip: Book permits 2–3 days ahead. Morning safari (6–9 AM) is best for large mammals.
Cycling
Flat, scenic terrain along the backwaters and through the village. Ideal for morning rides before breakfast. Bicycles available on property.
Tip: Go before 9 AM — the light on the water is stunning.
Fishing
Try your hand at fishing by the Kabini backwaters. Equipment available on request. A peaceful and rewarding activity for all ages.
Tip: Best at dusk. Ask our staff for the right spot.
Stargazing
Zero light pollution. On a clear night, the Milky Way is visible with the naked eye from the property. No equipment needed — just look up.
Tip: Best October–February. Moonless nights are magical.
Bonfire
Every evening without exception. Gather around the fire, share stories, watch the stars emerge. This is what guests remember most.
Tip: Starts at dusk. Bring a blanket — evenings get cool.
Nature Walk
Guided walks along the secured forest boundary to spot wildlife and local flora. Our team knows the territory well.
Tip: Wear closed shoes. Morning and evening are ideal.
Horse Riding
Horse riding through the scenic landscape around Kabini Kaanana. Ideal for families and first-time riders.

Kabini Dam Visit
Visit the Kabini Dam viewpoint — an awe-inspiring sight, especially post-monsoon when the reservoir is full.
