Kabini Kaanana sits on the edge of the Kabini backwaters in Beechanahalli — a small village that sits exactly where the forest meets the water. The property has been in the family for decades, but the homestay began with a simple belief: that the best way to experience Kabini is not through a resort, but by staying as a guest in a home that actually belongs here.

What makes us different

We are not a resort. There is no pool, no spa, no all-day room service. What we offer instead is the real Kabini — bonfires every evening, Karnataka food made in our kitchen from local ingredients, and direct access to one of India's finest birding and wildlife destinations. Nagarhole Tiger Reserve is 15 minutes away. The backwaters are outside your window.
